NonProfit Guidelines
All non-profits interested in participating must fill out the application and no spots are guaranteed!

Each year, Friends of the Cheat invites non-profit organizations who share FOC’s vision  to participate in Cheat Fest as part of our non-profit tent.   We wish to inform the public about the progress being made to restore the watershed, and introduce them to other groups working to restore the environment, preserve green space, foster community development, and revitalize the region.

At the fest, FOC provides a 20 x 40 foot tent under which ten tables are arranged to accommodate participating organizations. We aim to allow each non-profit its own table, but tables may be shared if demand exceeds capacity. Each organization is responsible for providing their own informational displays and materials. We encourage you to take advantage of this flexible forum and be creative. Past participants have been known to demo eco-technology or dress up as endangered species — so have fun! If you have special needs — of space, materials, activities, etc. — please let us know and we will work to see what’s possible. If you are interested in hosting a workshop, we would LOVE to work with you!

We ask that participating non-profits donate $10 to Friends of the
Cheat to help cover the expense of the tent.  We also welcome (and encourage!) donations to our silent auction. Each registered non-profit group receives two free festival passes, one on-site car pass, and the privilege of onsite primitive camping. Full details are outlined in the registration form.
